Have You Hugged Your Tree Today?

Trees are important. They improve the value of your home; they remove 1,000’s of pounds of pollutants each year; and they produce oxygen. Some have been here far longer than all of us, and with our care, they can be here for years to come.

We understand trees, treat them with care, and help you keep them around to do their job!

Our Tree Care Program Provides A Careful And Exhaustive Tree Service To Ensure Health And Beauty.

  • We carefully plan and select every branch we cut.
  • We cut branches close to the main trunk in order to leave as small of a wound as possible.
  • We leave plenty of shade to protect the bark from too much sun.
  • We only trim the taller branches that are not necessary for the tree’s continued health.

A Common Myth: An easy, low-cost way to maintain trees is by “crowning,” or shaping the tops into a smaller rounded crown. The truth is, this can actually harm your tree.

Here’s How:

  • Trees need their leaves in order to get proper photosynthesis (remember that word from biology class?). Without enough leaves, your tree can starve.
  • In order to survive, a tree will try to replace its leaves ASAP, so it will grow taller faster (which can turn into another maintenance issue).
  • Trees get sunburn, too. Crowning can leave too much bare space on top and expose the bark to too much sun.

Don’t fall for this dangerous method!  Let Terra Give Your Trees The TLC They Deserve!

STEP #1

Total Organic Bio-Stimulant with Fertilizer and Low EIQ Crabgrass Preventor

A unique blend of over 30 organic raw materials providing a baseline program for plant, root and microbial stimulation. This treatment provides macro and micronutrients, plus humic and fulvic acids to promote a healthy and active microbial population resulting in stronger plants and healthier soils to survive the rigors of today’s lawn. A low impact synthetic crabgrass and broadleaf weed pre-emergent is also applied.

STEP #2

Soil Conditioner with Low EIQ Crabgrass Preventor and Broadleaf Weed Control

The ultimate soil conditioner. A blend of non-ionic wetting agent, humic acids, cultured living microorganisms, sea kelp, chelated iron and complex carbohydrates. Provides food for microbes, stabilizes soil moisture, and opens tight soil. A low impact synthetic crab grass preventor and post-emergent broad leaf control is also applied.

STEP #3

Potassium Phosphite with Fertilizer and Low EIQ Grub and Insect Control

A high purity potassium phosphite is applied. This will increase plant metabolism, vigor, and stress resistance by increasing the physical strength of the plant’s cell wall. A low impact synthetic preventative insecticide is applied to control grubs and other leaf feeding insects.

STEP #4

Potassium Phosphite with Organic Bio-Stimulant

A high purity potassium phosphite is applied. This will increase plant metabolism, vigor, and stress resistance by increasing the physical strength of the plant’s cell wall. In addition, a unique nutrient source combing trace element will be applied to reduce summer heat stress in your lawn.

STEP #5

Total Organic Bio-Stimulant with Fertilizer and Low EIQ Broadleaf Weed Control

A unique blend of over 30 organic, raw materials providing a baseline program for plant, root, and microbial stimulation. This treatment provides macro and micronutrients, plus humic and fulvic acids to promote a healthy and active microbial population resulting in stronger plants and healthier soils to survive the rigors of today’s lawn. A low impact synthetic broadleaf weed control will be applied.

STEP #6

Potassium with Organic Fertilizer and Low EIQ Broadleaf Pre-Emergent

This application is highly effective in protecting your lawn from the cold winter stresses. Potassium fertilization is often recommended to improve turfgrass wear tolerance as well as survival during periods of cold, heat, and drought stresses. A low impact broadleaf pre-emergent is applied to reduce any early spring weeds for the upcoming year.
